Mail collection!

Well, since the time I made an email ID of mine, I always think of preserving those funny, bizarre, thought-provoking, out of the box mails which some friends and close ones forward everyday and which make me login in my inbox on regular basis. I started doing so once but my laziness made me gave up soon. Meanwhile, I came across a blog of someone who also likes to preserve his favourite mails, photos, music etc. and, unlike me, has gone forward to do so in his personal blog. When I started going though his mail collections, I couldn’t stop myself from reading every mail under each category and believe me, I had a time to remember. My bones tickled, my eyes grew bigger, my jaws went haywire and there were plenty of other expressions which I cannot give words to. Even today also, I keep searching for new posts there.
The mail collection has been divided into 4 categories – English jokes, Hindi/Marathi jokes, inspirational articles and the articles that make you think. The last 2 categories are worth going through. Apart from what appears on the face of it, there are lots of more mail collections given below under ‘old mail collections’ and ‘more nice stuffs’ tag. Its better to go to these links as it contains the total list of his superb collection. Well, my favourite ones are: ‘principles of life’, ‘Life: A nice analogy’, ‘conversation with god’, ‘the hut’, ‘funny dictionary’, ‘cool 1 liners’, ‘guess the genius’, etc. Believe me, the site is so cool that its worth a visit more than once. Digital Blasphemy!

I thought of writing about this site sometime later but I could not resist myself. Though there are several sites containing wallpapers and pictures, some belong to a different level altogether.
I came to know of this site when I was new to this world of internet. And it was like I have founded a pot of gold out of nowhere. It contains 3D images created by Mr. Ryan Bliss who is the owner and the only person to look after this site.
Although membership is required to view the creamy layer of his work, there are loads of free content available also to view and download at the same time. The images created by him are so serene that one feels himself completely in another world after watching it. It’s a beautiful world of digital colours and the images look more attractive when they are set on the desktop. One more thing is that the link to several other good sites is also available here making it as a starting of a beautiful journey. So for those who love to fall in the sea of colours, I think it is one of the perfect places to drop at. The link is:

Train drives through Bangkok market!

Thank god, I managed to make a comeback and this is something, I think, I will have to make again & again in future.
This time it’s a video clip I came across a few days back and was really clueless on how to react after watching it. So it was actually a mixed reaction from me with a bit of laughter, a bit of surprise, a bit of thinking etc. ‘Bizarre’ would be the right word to describe it, I think. Anyways, there is not much thing to say about a mini video clip so I leave it upon you people to have your reactions. The link is:

Monk email!

This funny stuff has been brought out by careerbuilder.com. Here your email or message will be presented in the voice of a monk/chimp. This is not an alternative for regular emails that we use but this is entirely a new way of sending any short message to your close ones, for a change. It may be a birthday wish, or a token of appreciation or a congratulatory message or anything that you may be wanting to send. Further there are plenty of options to choose from as far as presentation is concerned. You can even send it in your own voice by recording your message by phone or mic. Overall, I think, it’s a good funny place to drop at to use something different. The link to use this feature is : www.careerbuilder.com/monk-e-mail/

Tonebee.com

Here is something whose subject is though not new but the access to the subject has been made easy. Its tonebee.com where you can directly make a ringtone out of a song. Unlike other facilities available on the net where you need to download the ‘ringtone maker’, here you can directly upload your song and make a ringtone. The process is very simple here – you first need to upload the song on the website. Songs are uploaded in terms of codes here. Then you need to search the particular song in their database to find if any cutcode related to that song is available there or not. One more good thing about the site which you will find here is that if the particular song is not there in their database, you can add it there. Once this process is done, you can select the part of the song which you want as a ringtone and then save it to your computer. That’s all! Meanwhile you need to download the ‘Java Runtime’ software to do all the above things. Its available in the site itself.
